Vavrek Architects, Inc. was founded by Thomas J. Vavrek, who has more than 17 years of design and construction experience in the commercial sector. Tom has worked on a variety of building types ranging from renovation projects to multi-million dollar buildings including schools, criminal justice facilities, office buildings, and retail buildings.
Tom has been involved in a number of urban and civic development projects. His work in Downtown Whiting culminated in the creation of a Developmental Standards Guide that is currently used for all development in the City.
Tom's professional work ethic is a combination of a desire to strive for excellence in design with a devotion to guide a project through to its completion in the most expedient manner possible. Tom delivers a full range of skills that one would expect from an architect who has overseen all phases of building design and construction.
