Vavrek Architects is developing drawings for multiple facade renovation projects being spearheaded by the City of Whiting Redevelopment Commission. The buildings are located along 119th Street in the downtown business district. One such building is Studio 659, located at 1413 119th St., which is getting a new storefront, windows and doors, as well as undergoing masonry restoration and tuckpointing. It will be home to a new arts studio.
