The Museum Program for the City of Whiting is under way. A team of committees is responsible for providing information that will be used to develop a building program. The "Building Design Committee" is co-chaired by Tom Vavrek and Joe Vajda, both local residents and architects. Vavrek Architects will design the new building based on input collected and processed as a result of the committee meetings. The new museum will be located at 119th and Front Streets, just minutes away from the Whiting Lakefront.
